What customers say
This is a well-maintained, peaceful campsite in a beautiful location, ideal for exploring the Peak District. Visitors praise the clean and modern facilities, spacious pitches, and the convenient proximity to a local pub. The site is secured with a barrier and CCTV, and the friendly staff are attentive. While some guests mentioned occasional queues for facilities during peak times and a few noted minor issues like lukewarm washing-up water or small toilet cubicles, overall, the feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with many visitors expressing a desire to return.

 Non-electric grass pitch
Liked easy to get to, all looks pretty new.
Disliked Can the electric gate please stay open for a little longer, as I had to get out of car, put the code, and before I could set off, the gate was closed :)
As the stiles in the area a big dog unfriendly, I wonder if the site would consider making a fenced area for dogs to have a little run about.
Wifi not working at the end of the field, so probably need to park closer to the facilities

Great camping site, we will be coming back.
 Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Great location. We stayed at Brosterfield Farm to go hiking, just 20 min drive from the parking at Higger Tor. Plus walking distance from a lovely pub in Foolow.
Nice, clean, heated facilities.

 Non-electric grass pitch
Liked This pitch is a lovely location, not far from shops, pubs and surrounded by stunning views. The site itself is lovely, really well kept and the toilet, shower and washing up facilities were great! Everything was clean and stocked up as we needed, and the secure barrier with code made us feel comfortable in the evening.
Disliked One potential improvement could be the wifi. For me and my group this wasn’t a concern and I’m sure many campers would feel the same. I would suggest just not having wifi rather than advertising it but it not really working. Signal in the area is okay so campers can use their mobile data as normal.

Liked Very well kept field with a lovely clean shower/toilet block! The showers were very hot and there was a hairdryer in the ladies block!
Good communication before hand and even though we did not see the owner/warden when we were there we were made to feel they were very approachable if they were needed!
