She’s starred on TV and had a lifetime of adventures… and now she’s parked up in her retirement spot, ready to be part of your Derbyshire holiday. The Brassic Retreat is a large van that’s seen a bit of action in the past and has now been converted into a cosy and colourful countryside getaway for adults only. The van is part of a larger campsite in the scenic Combs Valley, with gorgeous views over the surrounding hills and a peaceful atmosphere that’s all about the fresh air, the wildlife and the chance to slow down for a little while. As part of her glow-up, the van’s been kitted out with everything you should need for a comfy escape – she’s got a very colourful and characterful sleeping area (check the pics for full details…), heating and a kitchenette with a fridge, cooker and all the associated utensils, crockery and cutlery. Toilets and showers are a short stroll away in the main campsite, and you should be able to pick up all necessary supplies for your stay in Chapel-en-le-Frith (five minutes’ drive away). The outdoor space here may well entice you to spend some time with your feet up, popping open a drink or few and perhaps stoking a barbecue – but the van also makes an excellent base for outdoor adventures, with fabulous trails of the Peak District National Park close by.
