Liked: I loved everything about this place. The cutest friendliest dogs, the owners are amazing and the scenery is great. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast cooked by the owners and got to feed the hen and one of the dogs it was a really soulful experience. There is also an amazing place to swim with several waterfalls and beautiful scenery a small walk away. Cannot recommend it enough. Seriously grateful for the two who run this place as it was an amazing experience for me and my friend. With love from Australia.
Disliked: Literally nothing.

Liked: Just what we were after! We've just returned from 2 nights camping here with a 4 month old baby and a nearly 2 year old over August Bank Holiday. We were greeted on arrival by the friendly owner who explained where things are and that we could pitch wherever we like in the field, if we need anything to just ask the site is on a hill though we didn't struggle finding a reasonably level spot. The toilets are portaloos and were always clean and stocked with toilet roll during our stay. Bacon butties are available in the morning which was much appreciated after a very wet night, they even invited us to sit inside out the rain. There a loads of walks nearby, we walked around valehouse reservoir with the double pram no problem and called into the pub round the corner from the campsite for a drink afterwards. The farm has goats, horses the kids can see and a lovely farm dog called Meg, a peacock and peahen wandering around the site. There's also a great play area just a 3 min walk from the bottom gate with swings, slides zip wire etc.

Liked: Magical spot to camp in, beautiful views of reservoir, plains fly really low overhead which was captivating for the kids, also a resident peacock and peahen. Lovely area for kids to play or enjoy the surroundings and owners were lovely and offered hot food and drinks at certain times.

Liked: Beautiful well kept site, great location, friendly owners. Close to a lot of great walks. Dog friendly, and if the weather is miserable, they open the farmhouse for breakfast
Disliked: None although very mindful that it’s a tight one way road to the site itself

From the manager: We are a pop up campsite for 28 days at the begining if the season so very limited facilities, as clearly described in the campsite description. As a pop up we are only obliged to provide toilets and a refuse area. We have applied for planning to open more days if we are successful it will be worth investing in proper showers, toilets and wash up area. Showers are only available when we are in the house if we go out to attend to farm jobs then we lock up because we don't want strangers having access to our family home when we are nit there, I'm sure you would feel the same about your home. WiFi is an issue even in the house because of the distance (13 miles equivalentof) from a junction box.
