What customers say
This campsite is praised for its stunning Peak District location, ideal for walkers, with spacious pitches and beautiful views. Visitors highlight the excellent, clean, and modern shower and toilet facilities, alongside a popular on-site cafe and shop. Nearby pubs are also frequently mentioned. While some note occasional noise from other campers or dated facilities (with a new block under construction), the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a strong desire to return.

Beautiful surroundings with benefit of a fantastic onsite cafe
Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked set is the gorgeous Edale valley this camp has the best views I have seen for a while. It has a modern shower and toilet block and a lovely cafe and general store. Surprised to get strong 5g signal but there was free wifi too.
The Nags head pub has a good choice of food and is on the doorstep of the camp. The Ramblers Inn too. 8mins walk away
Will be back later in the season
Disliked The slope of the hardstanding pitch was too much for my chocks to create a level camp and the grass for the tent had a noticable slope. Other pitches looked better.
While i had no issue with mens facilities or unisex showers, my Partner said women's toilets not kept clean.

Liked Large pitches with electricity. Beautiful scenery. A lovely warm and clean shower and toilet block with hot showers. Very well maintained. Park for children. Reasonable prices and accommodating when we asked to stay an extra night. 2 great pubs nearby serving good meals. Overall, a lovely site that we'll definitely be visiting again

Sparrowhawk non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked I loved the whole site. Such a relaxing stay and the facilities were all top notch. The shower/toilet block was clean and warm and the cafe was a nice place to hang out and grab breakfast/cakes.
Will be returning here for sure, especially when camping season officially starts.
Also the pub being a mere 5 minute walk from the campsite (if that depending where you stay) was amazing.
Disliked Just the fields for camping weren't very flat, but this isnt really something that would put us off. We still had a lovely time.
WIFI was patchy depending where you were on site, however weren't there for the WIFI and it did work. So cannot complain
