What customers say
This is a friendly, relaxed campsite with large, level pitches and a welcoming atmosphere. Guests praised the clean facilities, including hot showers and washing-up areas, and the helpfulness of the staff. The location is highly rated for its proximity to canal walks, local pubs, and a small village. Fire pits and a communal barbecue area are available. Some guests noted dated shower blocks and occasional smells from drains or nearby industries, along with road and train noise, but many felt the overall experience was positive and expressed a desire to return.

Great relaxed campsite with friendly hosts and clean hot showers
Electric grass pitch
Liked Friendly who couldn’t be more helpful and kind … even helped jump start my car.
Relaxed spacious campsite where we didn’t feel hemmed in or on top of our neighbours.
Really enjoyed walking along the canal towpath where we found Mad Hatters Tearooms for a great breakfast and Mercia Marina was cool with a great Indian. Thought the railway might bother us but didn’t even notice it.

Disliked Grass could of done with being a bit shorter on the field but it’s still early in the season and if im being picky a bit flatter but like I say it’s early in the season so may be they roll it soon also somebody had used an old washing machine drum as a fire pit and it had burnt the grass and then melted and they had just left it there not the site owners fault I know
