Poolsbrook Country Park Club Campsite is situated within a beautifully transformed 165-acre country park, formerly an active colliery. The site is committed to sustainability, utilizing various eco-friendly resource and energy features. Conveniently located near the M1 motorway, it serves as an excellent stopover or a base for exploring Derbyshire. Guests can enjoy the park's extensive facilities, including a children's adventure play area, visitor centre, and cafe.

  • Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • A cable measuring at least 25 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
  • Units longer than 9 metres are not allowed.

Route directions

From South: leave the M1 at junction 29a. At the roundabout take the third exit (signposted M1 North, Staveley, A6192). At the second roundabout go straight on to the road signposted Staveley, A6192. In about 1.5 miles turn left immediately past the second colliery wheel into Meadows Drive and turn left again into Pavilion Drive. The Site entrance is on the right in about 200 yards. From North: leave the M1 at junction 29a. At the roundabout turn right (third exit), pass under the motorway and at the next roundabout turn right (fourth exit) signposted M1 North, Staveley. At the next roundabout go straight on (signposted Staveley). In about 1.5 mile turn left immediately past the second colliery wheel into Meadows Drive and turn left again into Pavilion Drive. The Site entrance is on the right in about 200 yards.
