What customers say
The site receives consistent praise for its excellent, clean, and modern toilet and shower facilities, a well-maintained children's play area, and its friendly and helpful staff. Many visitors found it to be a good base for exploring the Peak District, with a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. However, a recurring concern is noise from the nearby main road, particularly at night, and some tent pitches are described as sloping, which can be uncomfortable. Some guests also experienced issues with toilet roll replenishment and the availability of hand soap.

Disappointed but had potential
 Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Site was in a good location, lots of trails near by which is great! very modern facilities good size pitches
Disliked Toilets were filthy and the smell was putrid, we’re not cleaned for 2 and a half days. Empty toilet rolls, dirty floors and sinks. Smell makes them unbearable. Rang office multiple times to no answer and spoke to new haven to see when toilets would be cleaned to no response. Very disappointed because we would definitely have visited again as it’s in a great spot and nice pitches but this was the worst bathroom experience we have ever had at a site

The site was let down by the cleanliness of it's facilities.
 Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Good facilities, washing up area, large showers, plenty of sinks and toilets in ladies
Disliked The facilites although really clean when we arrived on Saturday were absolutely filthy by the time we left on Monday morning. For a large site the cleanliness of all the touring facilities was not acceptable, more care should be taken by the site to ensure that the facilities met required standards at all times.
There was quite a lot of noise from the main road that runs just the other side of the hedge of the campervan area.
