Nice distance from Castelton for a through hike. We hiked 22km here and stayed on Saturday, and then the remaining 8km to Castelton on Sunday.
Nice amount of walking for a Sunday, plenty of time for lunch and pints at the pub, before getting train home!

Fantastic location. Great value for money
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Quiet location, surrounded by fields and beautiful views
Disliked Toilets were great, however, quickly became dirty with no toilet roll. After the morning rush they were clean again.
Allocated pitches would be ideal- when we got back to the pitch a car had pitched up right where our van was attaching to the drive away awning. Some families took over 2-3 pitches meaning the rest of us had small pitches
