What customers say

Guests praise the campsite's extremely private, spacious, and secluded pitches, often surrounded by woodland, offering peace and quiet. The friendly and helpful owner is frequently highlighted. Beautiful countryside views and proximity to attractions like Arbor Low Stone Circle are noted positives. Facilities, including warm water for washing up and toilets, are considered good. Some minor traffic noise was reported by one guest, but overall, visitors found the site idyllic and highly recommend it, with many planning return visits. Finding the entrance can initially be confusing.

Secret non-electric grass tent pitch (woodland)

Liked Love everything about this site! Such a gorgeous, remote location with an area all to yourself. All the same benefits of wild camping with the convenience of a toilet and sink area. We stayed in the secret woodland area and could not recommend it enough for a large group, as it feels private and secluded enough.
Fire pit was a lovely touch as well, we will definitely be returning.

Disliked Nothing! It was perfect for what we needed. Only thing maybe was the sign posting to the site entrance wasn’t obvious, and I had no signal to check back for more info, but my own fault really for not checking in advance. Overall no complaints at all.
