What customers say
This campsite offers a peaceful, back-to-basics experience in a beautiful Peak District location, ideal for walkers with close proximity to Thors Cave and local pubs. Visitors appreciate the spacious pitches, stunning views, and proximity to farm animals. While facilities were initially basic (portaloo, water tap), a new, clean toilet and shower block has been installed, significantly improving the experience. Some guests noted potential for mud in wet weather and occasional noise, but overall, it's a well-regarded, good-value option for a relaxing countryside break.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Brilliant location, the site was easily accessible and had clean facilities. Very short walk to the village pub, and it's great that there was a snack van on site for breakfast.
Disliked More showers would be good, but it's by no means a deal-breaker, I'd happily go back.
