Liked: From the moment you enter the driveway to the site it impresses how neat, well maintained & special the place is. It's very private & the relatively small number of pitches makes it feel quite bijou. Each pitch is generously portioned so you don't feel hemmed in with neighbours. The shower block is fantastic; quirky, very clean and the temperature of the water is perfect for a relaxing shower. At no time was there a queue so I'd say the generous mix of toilets/showers is just right for the capacity of the site. Beautiful location tops it off!

Non-electric grass tent or campervan pitch (small)
Liked: The toilets/shower rooms were excellent, the rustic theme fitted into the surroundings well. Very peaceful site, we had no issues at all. Very secure with a gated entry. Pitches were very spacious, with enough room for a family tent and a car. The information board next to the facilities was very handy, pointed out plenty of places for us to visit for the day and also solid recommendations for food in an evening.
Disliked: Would be nice to have an area of hard standing in the grass tent pitches for the car, the ground is easily churned up when wet (like this weekend was!).

Electric grass pitch
Liked: Just the most perfect campsite - great location with loads of walks, minutes to the nearest pub, really good shower & toilet facilities and all very clean and well kept. Just the right size to feel private but also enough people to not be lonely. Literally the best campsite I've ever stayed in - and being able to bring the dogs with no problems. Advertised as adult only which is what we wanted, hence 1 star for child friendly.
