Liked: Very beautiful views lovely sunset and nice and peaceful, spacious pitch
Disliked: Quite rocky floor which would usually be fine but our airbed has a slight puncture so woke up with a sore back, if there was no puncture would have been perfect 👍

Liked: Nice small campsite. Easily booked on Pitch up and very well priced. Pretty quiet surroundings away from the road. No shower facilities which was fine as we just needed a quick overnight stay after a long day at Alton Towers and early departure home the next day. Toilet was cute in a little shed (separate male & female) although the light didn't work. Location was 15 mins from Alton Towers and about 5 mins drove from nearest town where we went for food. All pubs stopped serving food by about 7pm but takeaways were open late
Disliked: Not much not to like tbh.

Liked: That it was an adults only site. The pond looked nice.
Disliked: Sadly within 5 minutes of arriving the off lead site jack Russell had taken a dislike to my French Bulldog puppy and bit him on his hind leg before latching on to my pups tail. I had to pick my now agitated pup up to protect him as the jack Russell was now jumping up at my legs to get to my pup. We stayed calm to avoid our pup feeding off our anxiety. The site owner couldn't apologise enough and offered us to pitch up on the adjoining overgrown field as the jack Russell wouldn't enter that field. As I walked my dog into the field , the jack Russell was running out of it. We decided we wouldn't be able to relax so we drove home. Other people around the site didn't have the same issue and their dogs were fine with the jack Russell so I'm hoping this was isolated. I'm only putting this review on here as I would have preferred to know that a jack Russell is allowed to roam the field and go to people's tents, as this was supposed to be a trial run at camping to get pup used to it, and it's had the opposite effect that we hoped for. We have received a refund and a verbal apology at the time

Liked: A lovely and well kept site. The toilets are small but kept nice and and clean, as well as stocked up with loo roll. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had trouble with lighting the BBQ and they provided us with some fire lighters since we had forgotten ours. All the people on the site were also very helpful. The little farm dog will have you fetching his ball for hours and is a proper character. I will deffo stay here again.
Disliked: The enterance is very easily missed off the main road. But a round about either side means that it's easy to turn around.
