Camping pod
Liked: Great site. We stayed in a wooden pod. Basic but dry and warm with a handy toilet, shower and washing up point right behind it. The park was great too.

Liked: Great site ideally located for Tissington trail. We could not get a hard standing pitch so had grass.

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Easy to find, great staff and shop on site, with wine and beer. Very clean and smart facilities. Good tent pitches with electric hook up. Quiet and next to a popular safe cycle trail.
Disliked: Some of the tent pitches were not flat. Some were however.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch (no awning)
Liked: Very peaceful site with excellent toilet/shower facilities. Onsite shop covers basic needs at reasonable prices. All staff we met were very pleasant and polite. Perfectly located for cycling and walking trail which can be taken for a 20 min walk to a local pub which is dog friendly and does food. Would definitely visit again.
Disliked: Was a little disappointed that the swimming pool was out of action during our stay due to maintenance repairs. The chemical disposable point is a long distance away from the touring area, it seems like the tourers have been re located due to static caravan area being enlarged, a new toilet and shower facility has been placed on the touring field but I can’t understand why a chemical disposal point was not fitted. Would have given 5 stars but for these two points.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked: Lovely peaceful site, toilets nice and clean, showers just the right temperature Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed due to technical issues, which was a shame, as we were looking forward to a daily swim. Mobile data signal was banging.
Disliked: The elsan disposal point wasn't anywhere near the touring / motorhome pitches

Electric grass tent pitch
Liked: That there was plenty to do with the kiddies, a massive park, indoor swimming pool and plenty of places to walk and go on adventures. The staff were super helpful when we realise our electric hook up was too short and came straight away with an extension for us. The site was super nice, friendly and all the facilities were spotless aswell
