Em va agradar Friendly/helpful receptionist; close to town( uphill walk); Bus station beside Bull Hotel to get to Berwick upon Tweed ; ducks & ducklings.
No em va agradar Small shower cubicles; nothing to mop floor with in shower block; pitches very close together; noise from road; no privacy ( i.e. pitches not separated by hedges very expensive to wash & dry clothes (£9); charge for Wi-Fi.

The pod was a new experience which didn’t disappoint.

Em va agradar Riverside is in a lovely location along the banks of the river with ducks wandering around.The reception staff are friendly and helpful.The Pod was situated in a good position not too far from the toilets, showers, dishwashing and washing machine area.There was a fridge in the pod,a lamp and a plug socket.Outside there was a picnic bench.The site is quiet at night as the bar and entertainment area is a walk away on the other side of side of the main road.The Pod was great value for money.
No em va agradar The swimming pool was free but you had to give 24 hours to book.Maybe I didn’t read up about this properly but on a short stay it was hard to arrange.

Em va agradar Good size level pitches. Beautiful location, parks and good facilities at the complex. Food is good and reasonable.

3rd time I've been this year. 2 year old daughter adores the place especially the parks and ducks

Em va agradar Close to the toilets, lovely footpath along the river and lots of baby ducklings
No em va agradar Pitch could have been more Maintained and the electric point was lopsided and not each one had a fresh water tap. The grill I seen a girl wipe a frozen pizza base with a cloth then proceed to add the toppings!!

Our pitch was taken upon arrival. Was given another pitch told oh no that was taken. Then final pitch ok. 11pm knock on door from night watch to ask why we were on that pitch. Explained to him. Was fine. But he did say Pitch up is horrendous for booking, messing things up. 💁♀️

Would stay again, but more likely to stay in a static.

Em va agradar Short walk into Wooler, which has a couple take-aways and local pubs.
The Riverside Bar & Grill only a 5 minute walk, which was great for the kids with the evening entertainment.
The kids parks on the site are fab, plenty for the kids to burn off some energy.
Supermarket is ideal.
No em va agradar The general upkeep of the park facilities. The toilet/shower block is crying out for a revamp. Only 3 showers and not the best at that. Needs more for sure to match the amount of people staying at the park.
Same for pot washing facilities, needs more and better quality.
If these facilities could be much improved I think it would make a huge difference.
Same for the Riverside Bar and Grill, needs a revamp, some money spending on it. Hardly any of the arcades worked, entertainment area a bit dated.

Em va agradar Location, a good base for exploring north Northumberland and the borders.
No em va agradar Standard of the pitches and touring facilities are below par, pitches could have been a lot better presented, not a great deal of grounds maintenance being done, pitches not very well defined and too close together, water points were not well maintained with blocked drains, the touring pitches are definitely the poor relation on this site, the touring facilities, (toilets and showers), are well past their best definitely in need of major refurbishment
