Em va agradar This is a lovely family friendly site. Good amenities. Lots for the kids. Clean site with good pitch space. Staff were all very friendly. Special mention to Sherrie for the brilliant alpaca feeding experience! Definitely would return.

We're sorry to hear about your concerns regarding the gravel pitch. While it may have appeared to be dog fouling, it's actually more likely to have been left by our wonderful wildlife, which is part of what makes Billing Aquadrome so special. Our resident geese and ducks do occasionally leave a little "confetti" around the park, especially near the lakes and open grassed areas!

We also appreciate your comments about the grass and will share your feedback with the park team.

No em va agradar We left after 5 hours and returned home.
If you like butlins, loud groups or festival crowds you will be fine here, unfortunately that is not our type of holiday.
The pictures look amazing, plenty of space, green grass and trees, next to a river and lakes, with plenty of amenities.
What we saw was thousands of people squeezed into small areas, you could barely move, we asked another guest where the water points were and he agreed there were not enough, we also discussed the worry of even more people arriving to an already over booked venue. We didn't feel safe letting our son play around the tent as the people around us were so close, and the cars and vans driving around were so fast!
We wanted to leave the van and tent to have a walk around but felt very uneasy leaving things unlocked, we had paddle boards which we reluctantly left, we've never been to a campsite and felt so uneasy, it felt off and the characters there seemed to fit in. Safely when camping is key for us!
Perhaps the pitch up description of this place could be updated as many we spoke with did not expect this type of venue, its very much a loud, party type location. It is good for children if they are slightly older. The splash park was small and people sat around drinking.
A lady had said to us she had never been somewhere so busy and feared it would get worse on the Saturday as they open the doors to the public and play the football match live on the massive arena screen. This pretty much sealed the deal for us and we left.
On arrival we were told they are having issues with travellers not paying so they had to check our payment closer, there were many travellers there.
This place would be great for young parties, families with older children that can take themselves off safely and those not worried about loud crowds or drinking environments, the facilities were good and clean, the lake looked lovely and I'd imagine the place is nice if half of the people were not there, sometimes quality over quantity would benefit businesses.

We're very sorry to learn that the atmosphere of the park wasn't what you were looking for. Billing Aquadrome is a lively, family holiday park with a wide range of entertainment, activities, and events, particularly during peak holiday periods and weekends. We appreciate that this style of holiday isn't for everyone, and we're sorry it didn't meet your expectations.

Reading your feedback, it also sounds like many of our holiday guests were enjoying everything the park has to offer. With so many activities, entertainment options, and facilities available, there's something for everyone, which is what makes Billing Aquadrome such a popular family holiday destination.

The safety of our guests is always our highest priority. We have a dedicated security team on park 24 hours a day, and our speed limits are clearly signposted and monitored to help keep everyone safe. We're sorry that you didn't feel as relaxed as we would have hoped during your stay.

We also appreciate your comments regarding how busy the park was during your visit. During school holidays and major events, the park can be much busier than at other times of the year, while quieter midweek breaks outside of peak periods often offer a very different experience.

Em va agradar Designated camping spots, the shower blocks that were also basically a functioning bathroom with toilets and shower in a private room. The on site shop wasn't too bad either.

No em va agradar The lake was not well maintained and very dirty, visible debris and rubbish in the lake.

The laundrette on site was very expensive compared to other campsites i've visited.

I will be honest, if you are looking for a relaxing campsite for a long weekend, do not come here, its for families with kids, its catered to kids and families looking to get rid of their kids for a few hours. Kids running around screaming and being children is what you will get if you come here.

The facilities were ok, we had decent showers in some of the blocks and bad ones in others. When it is packed out with people the facilities get minging, this cant be helped by the staff, people can be grots outside of their own home and lose all ability to use a toilet properly. A few facilities staff members assigned to a single block of toilets and showers would help with this.

The sign posting on this campsite and the map they give you did not match up at all. You have to go and find things yourself as they only give you a fragmented map of the grounds depending on where you're staying. With the site being massive this takes a while and is somewhat time consuming, i would suggest a redesign of the site map for people when they arrive.

Em va agradar The venue served nice food, the staff everywhere were very friendly and helpful. The lakeside bar was nice to relax at. Easy walking distance to nearby pub and food outlet if wanted to venture off site. Had plenty of space on pitch and although site not full think pitches would still be good size.

No em va agradar No WiFi signal, and TV reception not great on first night but worked fine after facing the camper round. Although on site shop was handy, and bakery a nice touch, produce was fairly limited and feel a lot more could be made of it, especially for such a large site. Although not an actual dislike, I would come again but not during peak times as could imagine it would be too busy to make most of it, having said that it is a large family friendly site and would imagine great for families with children.
