Μου άρεσε Water based activities are very good. Night time entertainment decent. My little lad loved the train. There is plenty to keep young ones entertained. New washing facilities very clean, the only thing that lets it down is the shower cubicles have no space to store your belongings.

My little lad loved watching the geese and swans going about their day.

Δεν μου άρεσε Check in experience non existent. Nobody around to tell you what to do. Appeared to be understaffed around the camping area.

We stayed on a shelduck 5 hard standing pitch. ALL of the pitches were absolutely covered in poo. Some of which was down to the local geese/swans. There was also what appeared to be dog and cat poo everywhere. We had to spend 30 minutes clearing the pitch before setting our awning up.

There are a lot of travellers on the site. I have absolutely no problem with travellers, except for the behaviour of some of the younger ones. There was lots of shouting and swearing. General bad behaviour. At one point I watched 4 lads hanging out of a van ragging it around the site. Staff in the shop were watching on, apparently unbothered, probably too scared to do anything.

We’re also incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so much natural beauty here from the gaggle of geese and the quacking ducks to the flutter of mini beasts in the wildflowers. There’s something quite magical about simply sitting and watching nature do its thing.

Now... about the poop! Yes, where there are birds, there are, well, little reminders that they’ve been! We like to celebrate their presence rather than see it as a negative though we have asked them nicely to clean up after themselves... unfortunately, they never listen!

That said, you absolutely shouldn’t have had to clean your pitch on arrival, and I’m really sorry about that. We do have a full Touring Team on site who should be available to meet and greet and ensure pitches are ready so we’ll definitely pass this feedback on and make sure it's followed up.

In terms of behaviour on park please know we have a strict zero-tolerance policy when it comes to anti-social behaviour. If anything of concern is observed by our Welcome Team or Security, they will take immediate action. We want Billing to be a safe and enjoyable space for everyone.

I’m genuinely sorry to hear about your experience, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns.

We do have both security and welcome teams who walk the park regularly to ensure everyone is safe, respectful, and following park rules. That said, if we are not alerted to an issue at the time, we may unfortunately miss something as I’m sure you can appreciate, our welcome teams cannot be everywhere at once.

I'm also surprised to read about the condition of the pitch, as our service pitches have been developed to avoid becoming overly muddy during light rain. Naturally, with heavier downpours, the ground can become wet, and if guests are not being mindful, this can lead to areas becoming muddier than normal just as it would with any grassed area.

I have not been made aware of any reports of stolen furniture, but I will certainly look into this further. We take concerns like this very seriously.

We want all guests to enjoy their time away while also being considerate of others, and we encourage anyone experiencing disturbances to notify the team so we can address them swiftly.

Μου άρεσε Good value for money play parks were.good the bike track too swimming pool was.ok better for younger kids but no shallow area for really small ones the waterpark was good fun but actually another company so cost for 4 people almost as much as the holiday was lots of other stuff to do to but most better suited to smaller children.also all the staff we interacted.with were nice and friendly. Lots of geese and ducks all over the park but did mean goose n duck poop all over the place too.

Δεν μου άρεσε There was no choice of pitch just area but they put us right next to where another van and a building which was having work done on it and the closest water point was half way across another field and the taps in the toilet block went of so fast you couldn't get hands back under fast enough to wash them

Regarding the taps in the toilet blocks thank you for flagging this. We’ll get the team to check them. We’re mindful of water usage, as we want to protect our environment and keep things sustainable, but hand-washing definitely shouldn’t feel like a game of speed reaction! Μου άρεσε Ein toller Platz für Familien mit Kindern mit einer guten Ausstattung: saubere Duschen, die meisten Toiletten waren ok und es gibt zu diesem Zeitraum genügend freie Waschmaschinen um die Wäsche einfach nebenbei zu machen

Δεν μου άρεσε Leider haben wir unsere Kinder nicht dabei, in der Bar nur Kartenzahlung, der versprochene Shop hat aktuell geschlossen und der nächste ist 6 Milen entfernt. Da unsere Vorräte zu Neige gehen sind wir um nur eine gebuchte Nacht ganz froh…

Sorry to hear the shop situation was a bit of a let down. The exciting news is... it’ll be open very soon! So next time, no need for a 6-mile supply run. Until then, there is a garage just a short stroll away for any must-haves.

You’re also welcome to book a grocery delivery to the park, but just a heads-up you’ll need to meet the driver at the main gate, as delivery vehicles aren’t permitted to enter the park.

Also, you're absolutely right we’re now a fully cashless park, so it’s card or contactless all the way. We totally get that this can catch guests off guard, and we’ll make sure the message is even clearer going forward.

We’d love to welcome you back again soon hopefully with a fully stocked shop, fewer surprises, and maybe even the children in tow!

Μου άρεσε Lakes and river beautiful, lots to do but unfortunately when we were there the weather was too hot for us and our dog to take advantage of everything.

Staff on site were friendly and happy

Including and off lead area for dogs would be a bonus.

Being in a motorhome I was disappointed that some sites say you had a shop, and others ‘coming soon’, we had to go off site to buy milk.

We're sorry the sunshine was a bit too generous during your stay it can be tricky trying to explore with a hot and bothered pooch in tow! Hopefully next time the weather will be just right for some proper adventuring.

Now, about those maps yes, we do have walking, cycling, and “furry baby” trails available! They’re usually waiting at reception on the front desk, but it sounds like they were being a bit shy when you visited. I’ll definitely take a look at popping them into our welcome packs going forward much easier to find that way!

As for our food menus, we’ve got you covered! You’ll find all the tasty options and pricing on our website under Food & Drink perfect for planning your meals (or deciding what to tuck into after a long dog walk!).

We do ask that all dogs stay on their leads throughout the park not to spoil their fun, but to help keep them, our guests, and our lovely local wildlife safe. Did you manage to discover our Tuff Mutter area? It’s a bit of a hidden gem, perfect for curious pups to play and explore. If not, it’s one to pop on the list for next time!

Now, onto the shop you’re right, it’s not quite there yet! We’ve had a few bumps along the way, but the shop is definitely coming soon and will be filled with essentials, goodies, and probably a few naughty sweet treats too.

Δεν μου άρεσε Toilets and showers smelt. Staff member hiding in toilet instead of cleaning. No soap in dispenser.
Security waste of time, didn’t ask to see bands when registration couldn’t be read, just pressed the button in hut and let us through. What’s the point of having security.

That said, I’m truly sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. We take your comments regarding security very seriously and will be speaking with the full team to ensure the correct procedures are being followed at all times. Security is a key part of maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all our guests.

I also apologise for the lack of soap in the shower blocks our Touring team should be checking and topping this up as part of their daily cleaning routine, and we’ll be reinforcing this moving forward.

As for the odour you mentioned, this can occasionally happen due to the natural surroundings we’re in. However, we absolutely aim to manage this where possible and keep our facilities clean and fresh at all times.
