喜欢 On the positive side, the staff we met were all very friendly and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The location is also brilliant. It’s just a short walk to the seafront and a café, and South Beach is a little further but still very doable on foot.

不喜欢 I have to say, I really wanted to love this site because the location is fantastic and it has so much potential. It just felt a little sad to see it looking so uncared for, as with some regular daily attention, it could be a really lovely place to stay.

The toilets were probably the biggest disappointment. There was a very strong smell that you could notice before you even reached them. I appreciate that keeping facilities clean and fresh isn’t always easy.

In the ladies’ toilet, only one tap was working, which also really needed addressing. The bins weren’t emptied at all during the days we were there, and the showers could have been cleaner. The dirty shower curtains in particular made them feel quite tired and uninviting, and simply removing them would make such a difference.

The grass pitches also needed some attention, with thistles growing throughout the grass. Again, it felt like something that could easily be improved with a little more regular maintenance.

It’s a real shame because I genuinely think the site could be so much more. When facilities are clean, tidy and well cared for, people naturally tend to respect them more too. A little investment and regular upkeep would really transform the overall feel of the place.

喜欢 Good walks along the North Norfolk coast. Friendly staff, and no strict pitching rules.

不喜欢 The facilities were smelly, not all functional, and often not clean, even though the site was nowhere close to full. The weather has been very hot which might not help, but the site generally felt uncared for.

喜欢 Good location and quiet site. Not many people staying which was surprising considering the time of year. Very convenient for accessing the Norfolk coastal path and the walk to Hunstanton along the sea front is good.

不喜欢 I don’t want to give a poor review but I think that other potential campers should be aware of what this site is like. I notice a lot of good reviews but I see that they’re from people staying in camper vans so perhaps did not need to use the facilities as much as those camping. The bins in the toilets were full and remained so for the next two days. They still had not been emptied when we left. There was toilet paper all over the floor, one tap in the ladies toilet didn’t work and the sink was blocked in the other. The shower which we used only had one hook so nowhere to hang clothes and the shower fitting fell down. My husband reported that the men’s toilets were filthy. I discussed my concerns with one of the employees and he said he’d look into it. In my opinion the campsite is overpriced despite its location.
Incidentally, in the photos it looks as though the sea is visible from the site but this is not the case.

喜欢 Nice location, lovely site nice and quiet , with showers and toilets on site with washing up facilities and fresh drinking water , near to the beach if your looking for a basic clean site I would highly recommend staff are very friendly , there is a shop over the road at the park resorts site , and beach is a 5 minute walk with a cafe near to the beach will definitely stay again.

喜欢 Lovely site! I was slightly sceptical based on the reviews i read..... was pleasantly surprised! The site is a back to basics functional site friendly helpful management who does his best to keep guests happy rules woth freedom to be happy campers whilst running and owl resciesfor cleanliness was not an issue. 10pm lights out down time! Beautiful sunsets beach 3 walk away hunstanton 1 hour beach walk! Shop 6mins away! Not commercialised! We will be back! The reviews about the site being scruffy given the context of the heat and hosepipe ban the land is dry flowers have died.... a choice happy guests and healthy owls or a pretty site with not much else to offer i know where I will spend my time and money!

喜欢 The site really is only a 5min walk from the beach - great location.

不喜欢 The photographs of the site are very old, it is somewhat scruffy and unkempt now. Check in at 3pm is very late, with more charges to pay for early arrival, despite the cost of the site being high as it is.

喜欢 Although it's Heacham not Hunstanton it was very easy to find and I liked the text communications to help with this. Nigel was friendly and got me checked in quickly. The owl by the toilet block is so cute!! Lovely location overall.

不喜欢 The smell of the toilets. The spiders alive and dead in toilets and shower. Could have felt cleaner.
The noise through the whole night by the campers in tents :( there was a serious lack of respect for anyone sleeping by that particular group of people.
