喜欢 The only thing i liked was it was close enough to walk to a decent pub

不喜欢 The campsite itself was very un kept, the pitches were not up to standard, the electric hook up was falling down so very unstable. The pitch itself had a lot of potholes in it, so when we reversed on to our pitch it was scraping on our exhaust , the bin area was very untidy and the toilets and showers could do with improving

不喜欢 Everything needed to be booked by phone app, pool slide not working, bike hie shut, train broken down, bar service slow. On the whole a bit disappointing after a 3 hour drive and we were even put on the wrong pitches

We understand that when several things don’t go to plan, they can quickly put a dampener on a holiday.

Our activities do need to be booked in advance and can be booked 2 weeks before your arrival. We shout this from the rooftops through our website, email communications and social media, so guests have plenty of opportunity to plan their stay and book the activities they would like to enjoy.

喜欢 Facility’s and entertainment was nice

不喜欢 But the whole park was so tired with lots of health and saftey issues. For example in the entertainment arena bench’s were broken , stone slabs were lose.

The toilet blokes had broken taps, loose shower heads

The paths around the park in places were not suitable for children’s buggy’s as it was loose stones rather than tarmac paths ,

Lack of staff in the restaurant meant really long ques and wait times

No aqua park working on the water


One day there was a tramp drunk on one of the benches by the ice cream and pizza van

Shame as we had thought your park looked promising online and we feel we should have spent our money else where in a safer environment

不喜欢 We hadden deze camping uitgezocht op de vele faciliteiten, echter hebben we van niets gebruik gemaakt. Alles was zo vies! Hele vieze douches en toiletten, waterpark was vies, afvalcontainers waren overvol etc. Ook de sfeer op de camping voelde niet fijn en we werden door het personeel ook niet vriendelijk ontvangen. Geen aanrader!

喜欢 The Venue,circus, alpacas and everything for kids were great though not very much for 2 year olds to do. The camping facilities as in toilets and showers were plenty and the actual pitch was pretty big.

不喜欢 Pitches were big but quite stony and probably due to no rain very hard. The tent area was right at the back so a good 10 minute walk ( with no pathway) to the Venue and other activities. The soft play area was good but not supervised and a load of teenagers were fooling around in there when we took our young grandson to play.

Our park teams work from early morning until late into the evening to clean and maintain the toilet and shower blocks, and we take feedback like this seriously. The issues you’ve raised regarding blocked sinks, broken toilet seats, water supply and the privacy of the shower area should have been reported and addressed.

Our Family Camping area is still new, and we are continuing to make improvements throughout the season. We also ask all guests to respect the park, clean up after their dogs and follow our park rules, including those around antisocial behaviour.

Activities, including swimming, can be booked in advance, and we communicate this through our website, social media and pre-arrival emails to help guests plan ahead.

We’re sorry that your overall experience has left you not wanting to return, but we appreciate you recognising the parts of the holiday that your children enjoyed. It’s in our nature to listen, improve and roll up our sleeves when there’s work to be done.
