Liked The pitches were spacious, the site was quiet and family friendly. The chickens were really cute. The facilities were really useful, as was the host. The showers were clean and easy to use as well as being hot.

Disliked Had to pay for the hairdryer, the showers were push button, which was a minor inconvenience. Our pitch was in the corner, which meant we were in the shade of the trees for the majority of the day... not what you want on an August summer day!

Liked The site was peaceful, spacious and the owner was around constantly to lend a hand. The picnic benches were a nice touch.

Disliked The showers went cold if someone else was in the shower or used the tap or flush so made showering quite unpleasant. There was also no elsan point so had to empty our porta potti down the loo. The site was quite windy (not the campsites fault but just a heads up for any visitors)

Liked Loved the outdoor shower (really warm water) and the outdoor games! The site was quiet despite being near the road. How close it was to Readymoney Cove (10/15 minute walk).

Disliked There's not much in the way of flat areas to camp. We arrived late lunchtime and found that unless we wanted to squeeze in between campers, we had to park in the middle of the field, however, once set up, it was fine.

As you found out half of our site is sloping but is not a problem with leveller's or orientation! See you next year John
