Liked Just returned from an excellent 3 night stay in one of the pre-pitched tents. We were travelling with our 2 children aged 5 & 8 and the pre-pitched tent and other facilities meant that we could have a stress-free introduction to camping as a family. The extra little touches like the large field with a football and a goal, drinking water tap near the tent and the kettle in the washing up area really helped make this a great stay. We spent a lot of time as a family in Wendover Woods walking, running and cycling around the waymarked trails (including the Gruffalo play trail for the kids), being able to walk there and not having to pay the high charges for parking meant that we visited every day. The Café there is also excellent. We also made the short drive to Whipsnade Zoo which was excellent and well worth the drive
