Liked the location of the place, the friendliness of the staff

Disliked There are certainly many guests who will love this place. Unfortunately, it's not for us. Very hippie-like, too many dogs running loose, rudimentary showers, dirty toilets, toilet paper is rarely replenished, damp pitches. Anyone who doesn't mind all that will find an interesting place in a beautiful location.

From the manager: Thanks for the feedback, Heiko, and I’m really sorry that parts of the site weren’t up to scratch during your stay. In particular, the toilet paper situation was embarassing for us. We’re a pretty remote campsite and had been waiting on a consignment that the courier repeatedly assured us was going to arrive, but unfortunately it didn’t make it here in time. That’s not an excuse from your point of view though, and we’re genuinely very sorry you were affected by it. We’ve only recently taken over the campsite and inherited facilities that need quite a bit of work. We already have improvements planned for the loos and showers, including work intended to make them much easier to keep properly clean and maintained going forward. We also intend to work on the drainage over the winter and improve that, too. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and found the staff friendly, and we do appreciate you taking the time to leave useful feedback. We know there’s plenty still to improve and we’re working hard on it. Hopefully one day you'll come back and see the improvements across the site and feel able to leave a more positive review.
