Liked The owners amazing people,The setting,fishing pond we loved it.

Disliked Only thing is the showers,only 2 showers (1 for men and 1 for ladies) there is a disabled toilet/shower But the showers are in the kitchen/wash up area,so whilst your in the shower washing your nads you can hear someone washing there frying pan 😜😜🙈🙈 could do with a false wall installed in between sink and shower doors.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments and I'm glad you had a nice time. Please remember that we are a small CL (certified location) site and for a site our size we only have to provide 1 male & 1 female toilet along with 1 hot water hand wash tap. We do not have to provide showers. The facilities that we offer are above and beyond the requirements. We are eventually planning on moving the washing up area to the new extension by the main entrance - a wall between the showers and sink is not possible as there would be no room to access the showers, however as this is only our 6th season and we are still developing the site this does take time, money and we would need to close certain facilities for this to be done. As I'm sure you can appreciate this is not possible during peak season. In only 6 seasons we have gone from just a field of grass to 5 hardstandings with electric and water hook-ups, 10 grass tent pitches with electric and water hook-ups, 5 none electric grass pitches - added 5 toilets, 3 showers, a washing up area, large play area and a fishing pond. We take all guests comments into consideration - but we do like to point out that we are not a commercial site and feel that what we offer is the perfect balance of traditional country camping with the added benefit of clean, functional facilities.
