Springbok, Northern Cape, South Africa
Electric grass and gravel pitch
Liked After a long day in the saddle, chasing horizons across the Northern Cape, we eventually rolled into the Springbok campsite considerably later than originally planned. Fortunately, the welcome we received made it feel like we'd arrived among old friends rather than weary travellers covered in dust and poor decisions.
Firewood was available on arrival - an important detail for any self-respecting biker camp - and we were free to choose our own patch of ground for the night.
The campsite itself was clean, well laid out, and surprisingly well equipped. Everything was exactly where it should be, everything worked, and after a day on the road that's about all a traveller can ask for.
No fuss. No drama. Just a great place to pitch a tent, light a fire, swap stories, and prepare for whatever questionable adventure awaited us the following morning.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would happily roll in again. 🏍️🔥🍻
