Very polite staff
Beautiful lakes make sure to walk over train track to next lake better for children and water testing quality available online.
The on-site restaurant was fairly priced for the convenience of eating on site, with picturesque mountain views in the background, although the campsite itself is sandwiched between a busy road and a train track. Steak and chips was around €20 and a 375ml carafe of wine was €9. The children’s menu was good value at €13, with options such as chicken and chips or steak and chips. The restaurant staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome.
Disliked In between noisy train and noisy road fine for a one night stop but would be disappointed if our holiday.
Facilities were not so great mixed toilets and a bit smelly. No squeegee to be able to clean in one block.
Park overgrown with stinging nettles not suitable for children
The check-in process is a little inconvenient, as you have to park up, walk down the path to check in, then return to your vehicle and use a code to open the gate. Make sure you keep the code, as you’ll also need it to leave — when travelling alone, the back and forth can be a bit of a hassle.

Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Polite nice staff, really quiet site, good lake location, lake not the cleanest but a small private beach and soft clay floor so murky. Nice bar on site. Water on pitch and football ground open 10-13:00 and 15-19:30 (I think)
Disliked Very basic facilities no loo roll and have to pay for showers fine nice and clean but to be prepared. Lake a little murky (not a reflection on the camp site)
