May 2026 Liked Large pitches, very well kept. lovely man who greeted us on arrival. Only 10 minutes drive from Newgate beach.
Disliked you have to pay 20p for a 4 minute shower and you can’t pay via Apple Pay/bank cards it has to be a coin. Seeing as it cost £60 for 2 nights, I thought the cost of a shower would be included.
It doesn’t take away the fact it is a lovely campsite, well run and well kept.

Lovely staff, clean facilities, large pitches close to beautiful lake
May 2026 Liked Spacious pitches, and was just across from the lake. Very peaceful campsite. Loved the enclosed dog area where you can let your dog off the lead, massive space for a good run around.
Very clean facilities and lovely staff.
Disliked I can’t think of anything to dislike about this campsite
