Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Loved this campsite, came with some friends and our kids. Field was lovely, no litter from what we saw. Plenty of space between pitches and in the middle to play games. There was a beautiful view of the sun set and could see the cows in the next field. The staff member we met was very kind and helpful. There was a pub a short walk away who have a lovely beer garden and do fab stone baked pizzas
Disliked There was 2 portaloos. Clean as they could be but ran out of toilet paper a few times while we were there and there is only one water tap. However for the price we were happy as we were only there one night. Would have liked to stay for longer the following day

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked Just returned from this beautiful campsite. The staff are very kind and helpful. The park is great for the kids, with a lovely view and alpacas to the side. The toilets and showers are clean and well maintained. There is large fridges and freezers to store food in, a microwave and kettle and ample washing up space. Plugs in the toilets where i left my phone on charge with no issue. Had great phone signal.
We had coffee on a morning and pizza one night that was amazing, but they do sell our quickly, so book early.
Within walking distance to bolton abby for a lovely day out, there is a path from the campsite but is not pushchair friendly and you still have to walk along the side of the road which we found quite dangerous with small children.
Disliked We stayed in a none electrical tent and you are able to choose where you pitch your tent. Liked this idea at fist until a family put their tent right infront of ours removing the space we had for my children to play in. Luckily it was only our last evening that happened.
Was the most expensive place we have camped.
