We do operate a self-service check-in system to make arrival as quick and hassle-free as possible, so guests can head straight to their pitch without needing to visit reception. However, we appreciate this may feel less personal and your feedback is noted.

Nem kedvelték Reception staff was rude and unhelpful, had to pay for parking in Holmes pierrepont to use the playground that was advertised, facilities were unclean half of the toilets didn’t work, the showers were the worst we have ever been too.

Also might have been worth letting people know there was the rum and reggae festival on particularly when booking with young children it went on to 23:00

We would like to clarify that the festival you mentioned was not held on our site and was in fact taking place several miles away at a different country park. We were not informed of this event in advance, and therefore were unable to pass on any details to guests at the time. We appreciate how this may have caused concern, particularly when travelling with young children.

We are also sorry to hear your comments regarding cleanliness, facilities, and your experience with reception staff. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and your feedback has been noted and will be reviewed with the relevant teams.

Kedvelték Fantastic greeting when we arrived the receptionist was very helpful got us on our usual pitch. Spotless clean site showers were clean and tidy . We're returning customers and would definitely recommend this beautiful well maintained site. Lovely walks round the watersports lake. Loved our stay

Kedvelték The campsite was tidy and had nice facilities.

Nem kedvelték There was a music festival nearby, and loud music played until 11 p.m both days. Even though we advised we are traveling with young children, there was no warning of this from the campsite. When we spoke to someone in reception the next day, she was very rude. We would not visit again as there was no heads-up about this before hand.

Kedvelték It was a nice clean site and well kept, pitch sizes were decent

Nem kedvelték There was a music festival happening on the site next to the camp site. This was not communicated and when I asked a staff member about it she was got really defensive and told me it’s not their problem and they didn’t know anything about it.
We spent 2 days / nights listening to the base of the music which went on from 1pm until 11pm it was so loud it was as if we were at the festival. We had young children with us 1 and 5 years old who then struggled with sleep
