Me gustó Liked the lady who welcomed us. She was really friendly and welcoming. The facilities were brilliant, nice clean toilets & washing up area. It was quiet too which was great…..

No me gustó The area was a bit untidy, needed weeding & upon arrival it was pitch black so could’ve done with some low level lights to find the pitch number. We were tucked away in a corner & it was hard to find……we could’ve also done with some sort of welcome pack or site map with info on there such as WiFi if available as we had no signal…..

Me gustó Close to pub, great facilities, even had little honesty shop, have me a tour of the facilities. Good in the pub was great

Me gustó The owners of the pub and campsite are lovely. We had a superb meal in the pub which is very welcoming. The toilets and showers are super clean and we’d love to visit again.

Me gustó The site was well spaced, mixture of hard and grass pitches with EHU and water. Toilet and showers excellent. Pub onsite which offers a good choice of food and drink at reasonable prices

Me gustó Lovely well equipped site. The owners are such nice people. Will definitely visit again. Perfect if you want to visit hay and surrounding towns.

Me gustó Wonderful little site. It’s sectioned off behind the swan inn pub. Lovely individual pitches, electric included. Great price if no dogs with you. Lovely shower block & toilets & super honesty box shop stocked with essentials. Definitely stay again. Pub handy for meals too.

No me gustó Pricey if you bring dogs! £5 each dog per night and no facilities for dogs to warrant the extra charge.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the dog charge. We do charge £5 per dog per night, which helps towards the additional cleaning and maintenance involved with welcoming dogs onto the campsite.

That said, your total for a Friday night, including your pitch, electric hook-up and two dogs, was £28, which we feel still represents very good value for an overnight stay with the facilities provided.

Me gustó Very quiet site even though it backs onto a pub.
Very large pitches
Very hot and spacious showers
Friendly bar tender

No me gustó Kitchen / honesty shop / washing up area was a bit grubby but probably just needed a end of season deep clean
Quite a few tall weeds in the hardstanding areas
Brambles could do with cutting back to make accessing water and electrics easier on those pitches

Me gustó Pub was nice, toilet block warm and looked clean .. was put on the best pitch with plantly of room

No me gustó No walks arounds , no dog area on site, but charged £5 a night for the dog ...would of returned if there was above ...

Me gustó Quiet location (visited on a bank holiday weekend)

Pitches are spacious

Shower and toilet facilities were modern - they are combined wet room style facilities with toilet and shower within same room (3 available)

Washing up facilities were good, laundry facilities available that I observed other campers using, there is a honesty shop in situ which was good for grabbing some snacks and drinks.

Pitches are the the rear of swan inn pub, nice quiet pub - food menu was limited to smash burgers and loaded fries but it did the job

The camp site had WiFi which was quite reasonable and steady speed.

There are around 8 or 9 spaces so not too big

No me gustó It is very remote - not really a dislike but it’s literally in middle of nowhere, not many things nearby and if you do want something other than the pub adjacent then it’s a commute. As I say not a dislike but more a be aware, you’ll get a quiet time because of its remote location but don’t expect to be able to access plenty of services or locations as it’s the camp site facilities including honesty shop and the swan inn pub.
