There is work on site opposite the hard standings where a new toilet block and family room will be built.
We used a super pitch. Only 6 pitches are available. Others are grass. The toilet block is very old. Only two toilets and a showers per side. C.E. P. Adjacent to the toilet block but down a flight of steps to get to it. A major construction by Northumberland Water opposite the entrance.
The one plus is Gordon the Warden. Very chatty and knowledgeable of the area.
Overall, we felt the pitch fee paid gave us very poor value for money.

Couldn't get tent pegs in the ground it was that hard only had 1 shower and there was building works the whole time I was there, without even a hint of an apology or small token refund spent £100 for 3 nights

Great location. Largest pitch we have ever had. Gordon was very friendly and informative on local amenities.

Toilet/shower block was clean but dated but there are plans to build a new one.

overlooking a building plot as was explained this will be the location of the new shower block.
But we were not informed of this when we booked!
These will be needed asap as frankfuly the old one have seen better days

Nice views, shower and bathroom and free laundry room is unreal. We stayed here 2 times now and will be back, man who works here is absolutely fantastic good vibes will recommend to anyone

Nothing to dislike but would recommend park to built or some entertainment for kids

Couldn’t fault the place. Stayed with my husband and 3 children. Gordon was absolutely fantastic and kept the site spotless. Location is also good, went on a nice walk to the river. Toilet facilities were also well kept. I have already booked my next stay.

Site manager was very welcoming and the site was well kept and quiet.

The washroom facilities were very outdated, which we were informed about upon arrival.

As a campervan road tripper it was great to be able to book just for one night.

The showers need a bit of an update. Only one shower in the womens and you have to push the button every few seconds to keep warm water

Peaceful,relaxing . Short walk to rail station and pub.

Facilities a bit dated but once these are upgraded the place will be fabulous.

Very poor facilities which I assume will be replaced. Two ladies toilets and one shower. No washing up facility, just the large white sink in the laundry room with no draining board. The building was very cold.
No WiFi
