Liked: Gordon the Warden is immensely helpful and friendly.
The site is neat and quiet despite having a good number of pitches for tourers and tents alike.
The site is a 15 minute walk from the pub and a further 5 minutes to the railway station.
The pitch was flat and fully serviced.Disliked: –
Stopped here twice. Highly recommend.

Liked: Friendly staff, good and clean facilities.
Disliked: No shop on site but the walk to the nearest shop isn't far, but the path is quite narrow if you've got young kids walking down with you.

Liked: Lovely quiet site - the perfect location for visiting both Roman sites and the coast/castles. Quite a small little site but very nice. Loos and showers are new and well-maintained. Gordon the Warden is amazing!
Worth knowing that the Paddock is a relatively small bit of grass - the meadow is a great option though.
Close to Wylam which has a lovely greengrocer as well as a Coop and Spar. There’s also a big Morrisons not far away.Disliked: –

Disliked: No urinals in Gents toilets leading to unnecessary queueing during busy periods.

Liked: Well situated and clearly being improved and we were given a reasonably level grass pitch. Toilets were clean and showers hot.
Site warden was friendly and helpful and obviously present around the site. We used the newly installed drive over grey waste which worked fine.Disliked: A little noisy with children, but it was a summer holiday weekend. We'll avoid that time in future.
