The site is amazing well maintained, clean and great for families we were only there for one night to try out a new tent but would definitely visit again

Some sloped tent pitches, the new toilet block was very nice but would benefit from having some urinals in there as opposed to just the current 2 toilet cubicles. It was all kept clean.

Lovely spacious field in the Meadows, great facilities and a lovely walk into Ovingham, the site warden is lovely too, definitely going back.

Fantastic site , in great location. Met on arrival by Gordon, the warden and he couldn't have been more helpful. Set nestled in between two nice villages. New toilet block was great. Lovely pubs within walking distance with lots of food options.

Nothing to dislike, only thing to make better would be onsite shop, or basics available at reception.

The new shower and toilet facilities were great, calm atmosphere and about a mile drive from a shop and pub but could easily walk there along the country road as there was a pathway from the site into ovigham. Town over the river had good amenities, supermarkets takeaways and a B&M when I realised I'd forgotten my foot pump 😆👍🏻
Site had no person on at reception but I was given a code to access the campsite and we pitched up and had no other interactions with the site owners
Excellent value for money for non electrical camping and plenty space.
Laudrette onsite and sinks to wash dishes with constant hot water

I would have loved a shop on site but this is not a dislike more a wish that you had!

Friendly staff, nice field and some new amenities. Quite a few good walks along the tyne and a canny pub a short stroll. Lots of visiting nature, owls etc.

Road noise from adjacent road and closeness of a69 above. Pack some earplugs job done.

Beautiful field and lovely new facilities. Also the park warden was such a lovely and helpful gentleman. Surroundings amazing too. City facilities from Newcastle nearby and beautiful nature scenery on the doorstep.

G has the place running smoothly he’s a very valued member for the site. Reward him as he is an amazing support element.

Need more toilets and showers but the ones you do have are lovely. I would suggest moving Elsa’s toilet cleaning close to main toilet/ shower block for ease and centralised functionality.
