The site was very well maintained and clean. It was great how available Gordon the warden was and he was happy to help with anything while also keeping things in check for all guests.
Toilets and showers were kept clean and stocked and there was a washing machine and dryer available to use also which was great!

The toilet block isn’t great with only 2 female toilets with 1 sink and 1 shower and 1 male toilet and 1 shower(if I recall correctly) but I know they’re awaiting new facilities in the near future.
I also didn’t like how inaccessible the toilets were as there were some very big and steep steps and as someone with mobility issues and small children- it wasn’t ideal.

The Warden Gordon very helpful and a great source for local knowledge. A very clean site. with the on going work to improve things, work was kept to a minimum whilst we rested. A huge are to walk the dog. Very family oriented. It is well worth more visits

The shower is old but works great, Gordon informed us that a new shower block/unit would soon be in place, once its in the site would be perfect, then it will be brilliant.

Over priced for site with very few facilities. Only one shower and 2 toilets per gender in a large site.

Lovely site peaceful good area to walk the dogs toilet / shower block is good clean big spaces for caravans tents motor homes

Lovely relaxed atmosphere plenty of space and well thought out plots. Facilities were basic but had everything we needed!
Gordon was very welcoming and friendly, giving us tips of where to visit in the local area and always making time to talk especially with our very inquisitive kids and even helped them retrieve a lost toy in the tree!

Very generous grass pitches in pleasant surroundings. Only a 15 minute walk to local pub for excellent food.
Gordon the warden very pleasant and helpful.
Good value for money at present but will certainly increase on arrival of new facilities block.

The issue of the old original toilet/shower block is an obvious bugbear. It is not ideal with only one WC and one shower. New modular facilities are on order but have still to materialise. The concrete base and plumbing have been installed but the actual toiilet block modules are still being manufactured. If they live up to Mcguire's high standards they should be worth the wait.

Lovely place to stay, the guy managing it is very friendly and helpful. Small village within a 1 mile walk with a small pub and train station.
Overall great visit, the weather also helped.

Only downfall is the toilet facilities with there only being 1 shower and toilet. But been advised they are awaiting new toilets to be fitted asap.
