Liked: Loved the peaceful atmosphere of the site and surrounding areas. Generous sized pitches with tap, electric and drainage that were perfect for our motorhome. Gordon the warden was warm and friendly with much knowledge to share of the area, he is credit to the site.

Liked: Beautiful clean site with spacious pitch for our campervan. Very attentive and welcoming park warden. Nice big adjoining field which is fully fenced and was secure for our dogs.
Well located next to the River Tyne with beautiful walks on the doorstep. Lots of new work on the site including new toilets/shower block which is nearly finished and would def give this site full marks once this facility is opened. We look forward to coming back again this year.Disliked: –

Liked: OilerSpacious grass pitch with EHU, clearly defined by planting and numbered. The site is very well kept by the warden, Gordon.
Gordon is a great bloke, with a wealth of information on the area.
15 minute walk into Ovingham (either on the footpath or a pleasant riverside path). Lovely village with a small shop and two pubs. Note dogs are nit allowed inside of either. There is a beer garden in one (we ate there, lovely food), and a seating area at the other.Disliked: Toilet/shower facilities are clean but not up to much.
Brand new shiwer and toilet block with laundry room expected to be completed soon.

Liked: Great spacious flat pitch, lovely site very well kept. Warm friendly welcome and excellent host. Walking distance to a great pub. Toilets are a little dated but did everything we needed and were clean throughout the stay.

Liked: Good sized pitches, quiet location, convenient for visiting family in Prudhoe.
Disliked: Limited toilet and shower facilities. Old fashioned sanitary block.
