    Great site well located to get out and explore not only Northumberland’s coast but also Hadrians wall. Very quiet and rural location yet you can be in Newcastle in 15 mins. Gordon could not have been any more helpful during our stay. We did worry about the 1 shower 1 toilet reviews but actually was 1 each for male and female. That being said at no point did any of our group of 4 have to wait to use the facilities. Gordon kept the site immaculate at all times as well as the washing facilities. Onsite washing machine and drier really helped as well. Will definitely use this site again !

The park is having reconstruction work done which is close to completion, and we feel our prices are a fair reflection on what the Park offers, but we have taken note of your comments.

    The position was ideal for us. Near the A1, Newcastle and many interesting places. The site was quiet and clean and positioned in the countryside. Gordon the site manager was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area.
    Disliked: 

    Only one shower on the site for campers.

    Pitches for tents were so hard we could not get the tents pegs in or out , had too leave some in found as they wouldn’t budge , a lot off work being done , which when it is done am sure will be lovely , but maybes let people know before they book
