Lovely spot, easy to find and peaceful. Arrived later than expected but met by Manager Gordon who was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Clean and well kept site.

Loved the peace and area. Gordon (Flash) the warden is the most lovely and gave us lots of information and kept the ground’s immaculate

Old shower/toilet facilities. But kept clean.

Pitch ideal with access to water and electric, toilet waste location could be updated along with the showers as they just trickle and the block is cold until shower is have warmed. Better lighter round the block and near the waste bins

Greeted by one of the friendliest site wardens we've ever met (Gordon) who helped my husband reverse with the caravan (newbie to towing) he couldn't have been more helpful and told us the history of the area and pointed the best dog walks, our little boy thought he was amazing, especially seeing his spooky photos!!
Site is really clean and tidy and relaxing, facilities are probably the cleanest we've seen in any site and the site is easy to get to from the A69, not a massive walk to local village and castle.
The site also gets it's share of wildlife such as deer, Red kites and pheasants and is now most likely going to become our 'go to' site

The only thing we didn't like was when it was time to leave!

Serviced pitch was useful, we liked walk to wylam, site is very quiet.

Water in pitch froze not really sites problem but was inconvenient. Minimal toilet facilities.

site is great, 20 min walk into town and the warden Gordon is super friendly and helpful.

Good size pitches, EHU, water and drainage on pitch all good.

Bathroom facilities dated, desperately needs updating, only one toilet, one shower, very grubby.
Push button shower unnecessary, 20 seconds of water every push, however water was hot.

There was WiFi, but we weren't allowed to use it, it should be an offered service for a fee.
