Easy walk to local villageDisliked: New toilet shower block delayed but existing facility was quite clean and was readily available every day i used it including the Saturday when it was busy.
Was quite noisy on Saturday afternoon and evening with arguing families and rave music but in fairness it was all quiet after 10pm so not an issue in the end! 😊
Lovely place, very tidy and clean. Pitches well marked, ill be back

Liked: Newly created pitches with boundary planting, EHU and water. A drain at each pitch but no drive over disposal point. Friendly local warden but no one else on site on his day off. Good location for the lovely Tyne Valley. Management is available by phone but they are 40 miles away in Darlington.
Disliked: The shower block is very tired and desperately needs replacing and is difficult to keep clean. Looking at other reviews that seems to have been promised for some time. One male toilet and one shower for a site with 22 pitches isn't really adequate. No wifi. No recycling. No dishwashing facilities so not worth the current £35 pn

Liked: Gordon the Warden was very friendly and helpful. The site was well kept and had a dedicated dog walking area. Very handy for touring the area. We used the £12.50 offer and it was well worth it.
Disliked: The toilets and showers - 1 shower and 2 toilets for ladies, 1 of each for gents, woefully inadequate for the size of the site! Added to which there were extra guests with the opening of the meadow. Also in dire need of an upgrade as they were grubby and very dated. We would have been very disappointed if we'd paid full price/

Disliked: Toilet and shower only one of each and very very poor .tiny corner hand basen only one and very rusty unclean zero bin in block and no light switch
