Nice views, shower and bathroom and free laundry room is unreal. We stayed here 2 times now and will be back, man who works here is absolutely fantastic good vibes will recommend to anyone

Nothing to dislike but would recommend park to built or some entertainment for kids

Couldn’t fault the place. Stayed with my husband and 3 children. Gordon was absolutely fantastic and kept the site spotless. Location is also good, went on a nice walk to the river. Toilet facilities were also well kept. I have already booked my next stay.

Site manager was very welcoming and the site was well kept and quiet.

The washroom facilities were very outdated, which we were informed about upon arrival.

As a campervan road tripper it was great to be able to book just for one night.

Lovely location, dog friendly, not too busy at the time of year we went so lots of space

The showers need a bit of an update. Only one shower in the womens and you have to push the button every few seconds to keep warm water

Peaceful,relaxing . Short walk to rail station and pub.

Facilities a bit dated but once these are upgraded the place will be fabulous.

Very poor facilities which I assume will be replaced. Two ladies toilets and one shower. No washing up facility, just the large white sink in the laundry room with no draining board. The building was very cold.

The tent pitch size was generous with power supply the showers and toilets were very clean

Love this place. Gordon was very helpful as always. Just a 2 night stay as I had surgery in nearby hospital and it was too far to travel there and back twice in one day for my husband

Pitch was excellent. Level, clean and fully serviced and we were welcomed and looked after very well by Gordon the site warden.
Access to Newcastle on the train from Prudhoe was great.

The toilet block is very old and inadequate for a site this size. A new facilities block is being built by the owners, however we were woken up this morning by chainsaws and a pickup mounted tree shredder operating feet from our pitch. They had been asked to clear the trees from around the new toilet block area by the camp owners Maguires. The noise was ridiculous and the dust they were making was blowing all over the caravans and cars. Not only this but there were birds nesting in the trees. We confronted the workers who said there were no birds nesting and they were only following instructions from Maguires.
We packed up and left within the hour.
Completed irresponsible and inconsiderate behaviour by both Maguires and the tree felling company.
