Lovely level pitches. Well spaced grass pitches with electric

Very poor shower block. Only one female shower and two toilets. Definitely need updating, very tired. Dirty when we arrived , cleaned in the morning fir the first time in a week. Washing up facilities also very poor. Water point not signed. Two taps who knows what they were. We travelled with water thank goodness.

We found the site to be well located, with easy access to the areas we wanted to explore. It was a quiet site after the weekend visitors departed. The warden was very helpful but went on holiday for a week the day we arrived.

This is an expensive site given that the facilities are very dated and limited. The lack of warden meant on our last night two separate visitors allowed their dogs to wander freely around the site. We also chuckled as the maguires team who came to cut the grass totally failed to lift the picnic benches to mow under them. It was also sad to see the newly planted laurels struggling with no water in extreme heat.

Good pitch size and friendly warden. Facilities were dated but perfectly clean.

Great pitches , electric, water & waste on pitch , friendly and helpful staff , lovely location
Will be even better once the hedges have grown and give you a little privacy

Location was perfect. Lovely pitches. Helpful warden. Steady 20 min walk to train station . Or a bus once an hour that will stop outside the site

Pitches good size, water and eletricity on every pitch.
Very friendly and warm welcome.
With trainstation at 1.7 km a good place for visiting Newcastle

Toilet and shower (1 × male and 1 female) outdated (but clean) and no place for doing the dishes (?!)
Al in al a bit too expensive
