Liked: Such a lovely wee campsite. As soon as we arrived Gordon met us to welcome us, had a lovely chat too to get to know us. My boys loved meeting Gordon around the site to talk about football, what an asset Gordon is to High Hermitage! The site is nice and peaceful, even when it started to get busier near the end of our stay, we still felt like we had lots of privacy. The new toilet and shower blocks are a great addition. A great location for exploring Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

Liked: We were given lots of infornation about the site prior to arrival. Well kept site. Clean and tidy. Pitches had electric, water and drain. Staff very friendly and helpful. Just installed new toilet/showerlaundry block. Site handy for various places of interest to visit. It was peaceful until neighbours turned up with dogs that yapped all the time. 😠
