Liked Everything. Beautiful flat field with toilet and shower. Owners very friendly and helpful. Great location with a farm shop and cafe in walking distance. 10 mins max. Liveky forest around 2 sides so lots of wildlife to see on the evenings. Rabbits were entertaining. Uve re booked again as loved it there. We camped but it has 3 statics to hire on site.
Disliked Having to leave 😕

Liked Great location with a lovely walk along the river to the lighthouse. Nice facilities with shower and toilets. Friendly staff in the pub
Disliked Very small field which felt over crowded as it was full and the drinking water tap had a hose on it which touched the ground. Aftet getting a very nasty tummy bug due to a hose on thr ground for drinking water previously we ended up having to buy in water to be safe. Gastroenteritis is very painful and very dangerous.

From the manager: the water hose is a quick release fitting Karen, if you dont want to use just unclip it! its not rocket science is it? get a grip

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Loved the place and such a good set up.
Disliked The very lumpy grass with quite deep holes and as we are short ladies on 2 wheels it was a scary time trying to ride across to the pitch. Nearly dropped my bike twice.

Liked Friendly staff and lovely to camp round a lake. Pub on site was quirky and homely with lovely friendly staff. Toilets and ahower room was basic but very usable and clean. Free WiFi while in the pub.
Disliked Wash up area wasnt great. Lots of mess and uneven ground with pipes every were. Looked very un finished maybe, with old dirty crockery in a bowl using all the room to put your clean stuff.

Liked Lovely flat field. Wash up area (cold water only) bins and fire pits and wood available. Lovely clean toilet and shower block but you do have to climb stairs to toilets and showers. Lovely quiet nights sleep and field has gates so felt safe. Owners leave you alone so very peaceful.
Disliked Nothing really. Its always nice to have hot water at wash station but we just heated a pan of water and took it over.

Liked Lovely spacious field flat and the deive in was hard gravel. Toilet and shower block nice and clean with a washinf up station. No hit water tap but a gas burner and pots available to heat water up to wash up.
Biggest bonus was the orange flag trail through the fields down to the beach. Lovely 20 mins strole. Rocky beach with a few arcades and a bar.
Disliked Nothing really. There is no rubbish bins as stated on pitch up which can be a little annoying but as we was on motorbikes they did offer for us to leave our bag of rubbish but as they took a while to answer we had to strap it on the bike till we found a bin

Liked Lovely welcome by the owner. Tent field was pretty flat and amenities were all in close distance. Very basic set up with a basic toilet block close by and a shower block separate. All were ok. There is a asda 4 minutes away.
Disliked Not really a dislike but the washing up area was not in a covered area. If it had rained it would of been pretty miserable trying to wash up getting wet while camping in a tent. Grass could of been cut as was quite long and clumpy.

Liked Lovely camp site. Staff very welcoming and helpful. On site shop and pub and restraint.
Pitched are a good size (tent ) walking round even the caravan pitches were a good size.
Beautiful walk down the path along the river were you can enter and a fab place to take the dogs if you take them.
Disliked I am no means put of by the dislikes but did make a slight difference in the ease if camping.
No toilets or showers any were near the camping. Almost felt like the small area fir tents was for picket money. Very much a holiday home caravan site. Tent area has a slope on it so hard to find a flat spot for bedroom area in tent and a long walk to the nearest toilet block.
Jad to keep hand on button for shower and not very hot.
