Literally couldn’t fault this campsite!
Paddock primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Everything!
We were a little worried when we turned up and the field was quite full (expected on bank holiday weekend) and there was only 2 toilets and 2 showers (each male & female) but even with how busy it was for the first couple of nights we never had to queue for either the toilet or shower. They were kept super clean, the showers always had hot water. And there was plenty of hooks, worktop and bench for bags, towels etc.
The site emptied after the weekend and we got to enjoy how really lovely and peaceful it is there. Lots of birds to spot flying over head. Also small planes and helicopters which our boys loved watching! Plenty of space for games and running around. Easy access to walks to different villages with pubs and shops.
Washing up area is exactly what you need - 2 sinks and plenty of worktop space, and undercover. Also great having the freezer for ice packs as it was so hot!
Owner messaged to check everything was ok a couple of times during our stay and saw them twice as well and they were lovely and friendly.
All round a great site!
Disliked Nothing.

Very good service (Jennie helped with problems with our tent above and beyond).
Highly recommend for an off grid friendly stay
Disliked Nothing - as others have mentioned, hot water at washing up station would be welcome

Lovely peaceful flat field. Back to basics cheap and cheerful.
Paddock primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely flat field. Wash up area (cold water only) bins and fire pits and wood available. Lovely clean toilet and shower block but you do have to climb stairs to toilets and showers. Lovely quiet nights sleep and field has gates so felt safe. Owners leave you alone so very peaceful.
Disliked Nothing really. Its always nice to have hot water at wash station but we just heated a pan of water and took it over.

Paddock primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The toilet/shower block was fantastic - best I have seen probably. The had a freezer on site which was very handy for the cooler box. Also, a comfortable walk to a great pub.
Disliked They did not have set pitches, which meant some other parties pitched quite close to us. This means we didn't have a lot of privacy, and we were woken up in the night by children crying.

Excellent site, good facilities with friendly and helpful owners
Paddock primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Just spent the BH weekend here with family and friends. Really nice site, plenty of space and not too crowded. Really nice (and new I think) shower block. Very good arrangement to pay for and access fire pits and logs if you wanted to. Basic washing up facility in the camping field. Owners very helpful and quick to answer any questions. Two or three villages with pubs reachable by nice mainly offroad walks.
Disliked Nothing really. Hot water at the washing up point would be nice but it's not a big deal just for a few days. Some more phone charging points maybe in the area where the freezer is would be good.
