A little overpriced for the state of the facilities
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Peaceful and quiet, good walks from the camp and it was fantastic to see the ships sail on the ouze. We would stay here again if the facilities were updated and clean.
Disliked We felt it only needs an input of money and time to rectify the negatives: Toilet block was old and needs updating, went to use a toilet and could not find one that had been flushed, as the campsite was not busy felt as if no one had checked them for some time. Thankful we were in a caravan. The washing up area sink and unit was so dirty I could not use it. The caravan storage area was being used as a scrap yard. We had to put our wind breaker up to hide the untidy mess behind the plot and shield us a little from a very ugly building. No security on entry. Showers were nice but cost £1 for 2 mins. As we did not use the pub we did not see anyone from the site no one came to see how things were and we were booked for4 nights we did leave a day early.
Great small(ish) site with a friendly pub attached.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Quiet and great sized site, away from noise and disturbances. The pub is great, with friendly staff and variety of food and drink available.
The site is well priced for what it is, and made our stay in the area worthwhile and refreshing.
The facilities (shower and toilets) were clean and open throughout our stay.
Disliked Not a massive point, but the showers could do with a mop or squeegee to move the mess you create when having a shower.

A lovely village pub with excellent food and pitches on the riverside
Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked A great little site ran be a really helpful and lovely bloke. Beautiful quaint village with walks along the river straight off the back of the field. RSPB just up the road. An amazing sight is when the cargo ships sail the river at night. The pub itself is lovely and food is excellent, great value and delicious (They even allowed us to take out of pudding as we wanted to eat it back at the van!). Pitches are level. If you want the evening sun I’d recommend the grass pitches. Very friendly atmosphere amongst other stopping on the site. Staff from both the site and the pub couldn’t do more to accommodate our requests.
Disliked Not really anything they can do about it but due to it being so warm, and being so close to the river, it meant in the evening there were thousands of midges which on our first night stopped us from sitting out. Also the water pressure in the toilets can take a bit of time to kick in.
Friendly staff in the pub, nice open field to kick a football around.

Liked Nice open field.
Pub does good food and beer.
Great location for a riverside walk.
Disliked Could do with a few more sinks in the toilets, for shaving etc.
Lovely site by the river Ouse. Clean and tidy.

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked The village is lovely, the walk along the river is beautiful and the pub grub was fantastic! The service was spot on, the staff were really pleasant and the food arrived super fast. We were shocked to be fair at just how reasonable the prices were for the quality of the food and portions sizes. The pitch was level and the grass was cut and neat. The site itself is great with easy access to the riverside walk and also through the village. Would 100% recommend to anyone wanting good food in nice surroundings and a quiet site.
Disliked NOTHING!
From the manager: thank you, see ya soon
