Gostou Lovely small site everything as advertised, kindly gave pitch close to toilets due to mobility issues. Only stayed one night to try new awning so did not eat in pub but others said how good the carvery was!

Gostou The camp site was next to the River Ouse and we were able to have a long walk to Whitgift Lighthouse that we could see in the distance.

Não gostou The service in the pub was not very good. We sat waiting to be asked what we would like for pudding, but were never asked. We gave up in the end. (We enjoyed our main meal though.)

Gostou Nice site for families or groups, has all the amenities you need.
Pub with a good priced menu.
Unfortunately we didn't book for food before we arrived & they were fully booked.

Gostou The site our pitch was great and no problem with electrics.. the pub was friendly and food was amazing

States run taps to get pumps working but everyone would do there business and not flush.. had to do the full flush everytime. That’s not owners fault but parents who probably allow their kids to use and go

Não gostou I booked 2 nights for me and my two little ones. They have never been camping before and were so excited! Unfortunately my youngest who’s 4. Fell down the stairs and fractured his elbow. Spent the night in hospital and had to have a cast fitted. I contacted the site that same night, which was the night before. I asked them if we could change the date. No response. I got a text that morning to say what time check in was etc and if nobody was on site this is the number for the pitch. I emailed again to explain and was immediately told I couldn’t change the date, even though I paid in full! I checked the pitch up site conditions and it says to let them know as soon as possible if any changes are needed. I think I did my best to do that considering I emailed at 5am in the morning after being up all night. I emailed again, asking Sharon to please look at changing the dates. But have again been ignored. I just think it’s awful customer service and I thought because I had paid in full. I could change the dates but no. I didn’t even get an email to say oh we’re sorry to hear what’s happened etc. Just a direct, no sorry.

Do gerente: we have heard every excuse possible over the years. So T&C's are set for no cancellations or amendments 7 days before arrival. You emailed 1 day before & reply we sent back by email was-

rules are no amendment or cancellations within 7 days of arrival. If we can re-sell the pitch today we can look at a refund or re-book. But unfortunately that is unlikely as we cannot cancel the booking on the booking system with it being within 7 days.

That pitch sat empty all weekend. Is that our fault?
Maybe next time you book anything read the terms & conditions!!

Gostou Very clean tidy campsite, easy to pitch up. Beautiful place with the river view! Plenty of space on each pitch. Nice little park for the kids, toilet facilities close by. Great pub as well. This is not the first time we have stayed here, great place to get together with friends and let the kids play camping games. Owners really friendly, great information befire arrival.
