What customers say
This tranquil riverside campsite earns praise for its welcoming staff and great pub fare. Sites are mostly level, with beautiful walks along the River Ouse. Though some found washrooms dated and coin showers pricey, the manager assures upgrades are coming. It's a quiet spot, perfect for unwinding.

Pleasant overnight location with adjacent Pub that opens some days.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Basic and relaxed informal site with large grass pitches. Comms via text prior to arrival with all info required. Pub on site... but be aware closed Mon/Tue inc the May Bank Hol so was not able to try. Adequate WC and water facilities. Would stay again if in the area.

Liked The pitch, the great communication from the owners
Disliked The directions!! Not sure if this is Half Moon or Pitchup, but the directions in the confirmation email led us to the wrong side of the river Ouse and it took HALF AN HOUR to get to the right place! You MUST sort this!!

Liked Pitch was a field behind a pub, not overcrowded and ample space between each pitch. Facilities were fab - nice clean toilet block, always stocked with toilet roll, hand wash, paper towels etc. Showers were also clean with space to put your belongings and get dressed. There is coin machine to activate the hot water at £1 for 2 minutes, didn't bother us as we were in and out. We ate in the pub during our stay and the food was delicious, proper pub grub and the service was great too. Very quiet location which is perfect if you want to shut off from the world, but no activities nearby. A few shop about a 5 minute drive away.

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Pub on site served great food and overall the site was very well equipped.
Disliked The park is right in the corner of the field and with tents blocking it off seems a shame to have it there with such a huge space available. The £1 per two minute showers is a bit extreme especially when travelling with children can become expensive. All be it I understand why I think £1 is a little steep maybe 20p like most other sites.
