What customers say
Guests love the peaceful vibe, scenic lake, and great views. Pitches are generous with hookups. Easy access to Sandbanks/Swanage. Downsides: one basic toilet, costly showers ($5/day). Owner's shower policies cause complaints.

A lovely site well worth a visit
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (lake view, members only)
Liked This place has wonderful views a beautiful lake and is peace and tranquillity the fishing lake at the centre of it adds a sense of calm and the geese landing on the lake in the evening was a beautiful sight to be seen. A beautiful hamlet.
Disliked There is not a lot to dislike about this site as it is a great stay , yes the toilet is basic but if you are looking for posh go find a bigger commercial site. it’s a work in progress and the owners are doing a good job

No because the shower is a stupidly expensive price per day
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (lake view, members only)
Liked I loved the beautiful scenery and the size of the pitches. Easy drive to places like sandbanks (30 mins) and swannage. Some nice local pubs (red lion). The pitches are with EHU. The grounds are kept looking very good, with geese, ducks and a chicken wandering around.
Disliked The toilet is the worse CL toilet I’ve ever seen, PLUS there is only one!! Which is not enough for the CAMC and Pitch-up customers. But, that’s not all…. The guy running the place does not like people using the showers. He charges £5 per day for a key to use the shower. So it’s extremely expensive. He also makes a big deal about cleaning it after use, with words and signage because it became apparent they do not want to do it themselves. And there is only one shower he gives a key for, so there is a waiting game especially in the morning. Drop the price or withdraw your expensive use of the showers and put some money into tidying up the one and only toilet.
