Wimborne, Dorset, England
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (lake view, members only)
Liked Good location for getting into Poole
Disliked Very poor facilities. The only toilet was very dirty and had no toilet paper.
£5 additional charge per night for shower felt very excessive.
A fairly large site but with the pitches cramped together and tiered so was overlooked and exposed.
No power on one of the days so as well as being dirty the toilet was also pitch black.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Everything. Super friendly greeting and a really relaxing stay. It was fairly busy but with a nice large field to pitch it it was still nice and peaceful. Backs onto the woods with some lovely walks.
Very clean toilets and showers.
Disliked I just wish the site was open later in the year, I’m looking forward to coming back next season.

St Kew Highway, Cornwall, England
Power optional grass RV campsite
Liked Had a fantastic stay, extended by a few days as was enjoying it so much.
The grounds are really peaceful, with lots of shady areas to get out of the heat. The pool was especially welcome with the heatwave. The peacocks were real characters and fun to watch, along with the resident cats and rabbits.
There’s a good shop just across the road and is in a really convenient location for exploring north Cornwall.

Liked Very clean and tidy with good sized pitches. Very friendly & helpful warden on site. Very nice pub next door serving food which was really convenient.
Disliked On the expensive side for a pitch as a solo traveler.
