Power optional grass campsite
Liked Facilities are fabulous. Dyson hair dryer to use in the ladies was a nice touch. Peaceful and the grounds are well kept and picturesque. Secure site. WiFi on whole site which always a bonus!
Disliked The smell near the toilets wasn’t nice but it is a heat wave so maybe there was an issue at the time ?

From the manager: Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. With regards to the smell. We are in a heatwave and have had almost no rain in months. Sadly we are not on mains sewage which means we have a septic tank onsite. This means that in such hot weather and at peak times it can become overwhelmed. Sadly we are unable to do anything about it and have it emptied regularly. However we are pleased to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. Best wishes from Leigh and David.

Liked We had a fantastic stay at Barley Meadows Campsite and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming and approachable, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The campsite itself was immaculate, and the toilet and shower facilities were exceptionally clean throughout our stay. It’s clear that the owners take great pride in looking after the site. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended!

From the manager: Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. With regards to the road noise, you did request to be closer to the bathrooms which sadly means you are closer to the roadside. Also during your stay the children broke up from school which means the A30 was very busy and when we have an accident on the A30 we become the diversion. We are please to see that you would return. Best wishes from Leigh and David.
Peaceful, well kept campsite in a beautiful location.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Beautifully maintained, peaceful little campsite. Clean showers and toilets, a games room with a pool table, a few books and board games as well as a charging point for phones etc in a lockable safe. The friendly reception has a small shop stocking everything you could possibly have forgotten when camping. The site was quite full when we stayed, but it is so well layed out everyone gets a nice private spot. There are anpr barriers which gave extra peace of mind too. Highly recommend for adults wanting a quiet, relaxed break in a beautiful location.
