Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Activities for kids, fire pits to use, camping area was flat enough, facilities cleaned daily.
Disliked 4 toilets and 2 showers shared for all camping. One shower only had cold water and the other the lock was broken so I didn't find out if it was cold too. You can hear the A46 so I used earplugs to get undisturbed sleep. £20 a night is fair but I expected to find working hot showers.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. It’s a shame you didn’t give us a call or a text to tell us about the shower and the lock that someone had broken as we would have sent someone to site to resolve these issues. The lock is now fixed as soon as it was reported by another guest it was sorted, we didn't have any reports of no hot water, this has also been checked and we’ve got hot water.
Very clean facilities and level pitches.

Liked A great, well maintained site. Plenty of space for our large bell tent and two cars.
The children loved the skittles and crazy golf. The dawn chorus was beautiful.
