Wooded area

  • Worcestershire meadow campsite on the edge of the Cotswolds
  • A 10-minute drive to Broadway, and 20 minutes to Cotswold Farm Park
  • Woodland den, walks straight from site; 10 minutes’ stroll to the pub
Fancy a walking holiday or perhaps some time spent exploring spectacular Worcestershire castles? Need to keep the kids entertained? Cotswold Nights Away is a great spot for all this – plus the spirit of adventure that comes with a wild-camping-style break on the edge of the Cotswolds near Evesham. There’s plenty of room on the field itself for impromptu games of football, and adjoining the pitches is a small woodland available for dog walking and family games of hide and seek. A den sits among the trees, kitted out with a sofa and boardgames to keep everybody entertained. The local village of Ashton under Hill (10 minutes’ walk) has a pub and food delivery service, and the mellow-stone Cotswolds village of Broadway (10 minutes’ drive) is packed with indie shops and delis for barbecue supplies. If you fancy eating out, there’s a destination restaurant there as well as plenty of traditional pubs to choose between. Basic facilities on the open camping field include a well-maintained shower and toilet block with a washing-up station, plus ice-pack freezing and a communal fridge. Firepits are available for use, (no charge) and thoughtful onsite extras include flowerpots full of herbs for guests to use on their barbecues.

What customers say

Árasáin ghrianmhara, atmaisféar suaimhneach, agus go leor le déanamh do leanaí. Glanthaisteoirí. Míbhuntáiste beag amháin: gar do bhóthar gnóthach. Míreanna cosúil le tine agus cuisneoirí saor in aisce.

Liked The beautiful location. It was nice to be surrounded by trees and hedging. There were opportunities for shade. The toys/activities were a nice touch.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Lots of games to play at the site.

Disliked I found it a little underwhelming, the site is basic and a little sparse in my opinion. I'm sure it is great for if you have kids as there were lots of games to play (paddle ball, table tennis etc). However, the sound from the busy road was very difficult to ignore, there were no marked bays for where to camp, you couldn't see the sunset because of the trees and there weren't many facilities.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Great location, clean and tidy facilities. Staff are very helpful and quick to respond via text.

I only planned on a 2 night stay but extended a further 2 nights.

I seen reviews regarding the noise from main road , yes you can hear it slightly but it’s not that bad.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked We came as a group of 3 couples and there was plenty of room for us to pitch next to one another. Vibes were chilled, absolutely loads of stuff for kids to do if you're bringing them, good facilities, even has an American fridge freezer for everyone to use! Will absolutely come back again.

Disliked Genuinely nothing. Lovely site.
