What customers say
This recently renovated campsite boasts spacious pitches, exceptional, hotel-standard restrooms, and stunning views, especially of Rutland Water. Staff are consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. While most guests have no faults, minor suggestions include improving pot wash drainage, providing cold water for teeth brushing, and adding more hooks in shower cubicles. The site is noted for its peaceful atmosphere and ample space, even when busy. There are ongoing improvements, with some areas still undergoing refurbishment. Some guests experienced issues with refunds and app-based electric hook-ups, which the management has addressed.

Liked Lovely friendly campsite. Staff were great and a beautiful location. There are a few minor issues but I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked Didn't like having to use an app to get the electric hook up especially as poor Wi-Fi connection on the campsite.
The wash room was lovely but needs a rethink. There is no cold water to brush teeth.
The pot wash is in a dark area so its difficult to see if your plates are properly clean and there is no draining area. If the site is busy I would think you would need more provision for pot washing.

Lovely site, will definitely use again
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Peacefulness of the site, shower block was awesome and clean
Disliked Think you may need to mark out your pitches in area 9 to stop folk parking right ontop of each other. We went out, came back and had a car right up the side of our van

Really nice campsite, recently renovated. Please be respectful.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Huge and flat, so plenty of space.
Guys on the gate were friendly and welcoming
Toilet/shower block is brand new and finished to a very high standard.
Plenty of water access around the fields
Disliked One of the washing up sinks had been used by quite an inconsiderate guest who left a lot of food waste - this kind of behaviour will block sinks and make the experience worse for everyone and maintenance higher for the owners - please be respectful and take your food waste with you.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Incredible toilet and shower facilities which were kept impeccably clean.
Huge space- able to set up well away from others in desired locations rather than set pitches ( we were without electricity).
The staff were excellent always present, friendly and professional.
I have no rearrvations recommending this site to others.

Great modern family site with lots of space
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Lovely new toilet block and showers. Every where clean and tidy. I stayed on a busy school holidays Saturday night but there was still plenty of space and it was quiet after dark. Lots of water taps throughout the site. Some fields have views of Rutland Water. Well run, will be back!
Disliked My only request would be a few more hooks on the doors in the shower area to hang towels, clothes, toiletries on. However this is a very minor point. Everything else was perfect 👍
